Welcome to Pond Cottage

We are situated in 5 acres of meadows and woodland, in beautiful countryside close to the Sussex and Surrey border, within easy reach of many attractions including Goodwood, famous for its Festival of Speed and spectacular racecourse, and the beautiful south coast.

Pond cottage is set back from a quiet lane in the tiny, tranquil hamlet of Drungewick, just outside the quaint village of Loxwood. You can enjoy uninterrupted views across undulating farmland and the Wey and Arun canal. The River Lox runs at the bottom of the paddocks, home to Bertie our Irish cob, Willoughby and Arthur our ponies and Hugo and Honeysuckle our pygmy goats. Bramble our Springer and Tilly, our terrier also reside at Pond Cottage together with our three little piggies and free range chickens!

With walking, riding and cycling from our doorstep, Pond Cottage offers an excellent place to stay and explore a wide range of outdoor activities and local attractions all year round, or as a base for visiting London (approx an hour away) or the seaside and ports of the south coast.

Guildford , Horsham and Cranleigh (the largest village in England ) are all within a short drive and provide a comprehensive range of shopping and recreational facilities.

The historic city of Chichester is approximately 30 minutes away and is famous for its cathedral, Roman remains and award winning theatres.
