While you are enjoying your luxury stay at Pond Cottage, why not bring along your equine friends as well! Our property adjoins a network of bridleways through some of the most beautiful Sussex countryside or hacking on the North or South Downs is within an easy box drive. Whether you are just riding for recreation or you would like a day out with the local hunt, we are happy to help you plan your riding day.
We can provide stabling (two 12 x 12 loose boxes) plus shavings for DIY livery or post and rail paddocks for grass livery. Hay and hard food can be ordered upon request. Please advise us when booking. We have an area to park your lorries/trailers within our gated yard and guests are free to use our sand school.

Please note that guests bring their horses at their own risk and are required to have public liability insurance. We do not accept any liability for loss, damage or injury to you, your horse, personal effects or tack however caused. All vehicles should also be insured and are parked on the premises at the owner’s risk.
Please ensure that all horses are up to date with vaccines and worming. Thank you.
For those of you who prefer to cycle or walk, Drungewick Lane , as well as having access to several bridleways, also forms part of The Wey-South Path (Horsham cycle route 25).
The Wey-South Path is a long-distance walking route between Guildford and Amberley in Sussex , where it joins the South Downs Way . The path follows the route of the Wey & Arun Canal and the River Arun Navigation as closely as possible, using public rights of way throughout. The route passes through or near Bramley, Cranleigh, Dunsfold, Loxwood, Billingshurst and Pulborough.
The Wey & Arun Canal is a green corridor through some of Surrey and Sussex 's most unspoiled countryside.
